GED (General Education Development)
GED stands for "General Educational Development," and it refers to a series of tests that provide individuals who have not completed a traditional high school education with the opportunity to earn an equivalent credential. The GED tests cover a range of subjects typically taught in high school, including mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts.

The GED program was developed as an alternative pathway for individuals who did not graduate from high school but still want to obtain a recognized certification that demonstrates their academic proficiency. Passing the GED tests can provide opportunities for higher education, better job prospects, and personal growth.
